About this work

Our Manifesto was written with a view to serve the expanding Social Science Career Networks as a provocation, a roadmap and a shared set of values to build transformative momentum. In it, we ground 10 provocative points for more just, equitable, decolonial and inclusive collaborative research that is built on an ethics of care. We also launched a Take it, translate it, share it campaign to widen accessibility and outreach. I did the Hungarian translation, the poster design for the English and Hungarian manifesto, art direction and voiceover for the animated video which was also created for more equitable and just accessibility.

Outputs

  • Translations of the manifesto into multiple languages.
  • Peer-reviewed journal article — International Journal of Social Research Methodology (Barker, Pervez, Wahome, et al., 2023).
  • Animated video — produced for accessibility and outreach.
