Roles, partnerships and projects.
I take on a small number of new collaborations each year. The list below is a guide to the kinds of work I'm best placed to support.
Research impact & knowledge exchange
Permanent and fixed-term roles inside universities, research centres and grant-funded programmes — translating academic outputs into briefings, exhibitions, public-facing publications and partnership programmes.
Participatory research & public engagement
Designing and running participatory studies and engagement programmes — from neighbourhood-scale fieldwork to commissioned council programmes. Strong fit for projects that need to combine rigour, accessibility and creative output.
Workshop design & facilitation
One-off workshops and longer training programmes for academic teams, NGO partners and public-sector clients. Methods include co-design sessions, urban games, embodied practice and reflective writing.
Creative research outputs
Zines, exhibitions, films, urban games and toolkits — produced as part of research programmes or as standalone commissions. Particularly suited to organisations that want their evidence base to be usable beyond the report.
Urban ecology, nature-based solutions, food sovereignty
Programme design and applied research for nature-based solutions in urban contexts, food-sovereignty initiatives and community ecology — drawing on doctoral research and field experience in Beirut, Budapest, London and beyond.
Civic participation & community engagement
Designing engagement formats that move beyond consultation — for local authorities, community-led organisations and humanitarian partners.
Consultancy & collaborations
Short-term advisory work, peer review, expert input on grant applications, and partnership-building across the academic / civic / cultural sector boundary.
Speaking, lectures, panels
