UnBox
Postdoctoral researcher leading the design, strategy and interdisciplinary development of a game-like experience (tangible toolkit) that facilitates unusual collaborations via metaphorical spaces.
About this work
As a Postdoctoral Researcher on the UNBOX project, I coordinated an interdisciplinary team of scholars across four universities to develop a game-like tangible experience designed to enable unusual collaborations through metaphorical spaces. Joining the journey in its second year, during my time I led the design and development of the physical product, including its narrative framework, branding, quest development, facilitation structure and knowledge-harvesting methodology. My role also involved exploring future applications, identifying new user groups and refining the experience through iterative playtesting and co-design processes. In parallel, I developed and implemented engagement and dissemination strategies that initiated workshops, a research retreat and collaborative sessions to support participatory innovation and interdisciplinary exchange.
